Metropolitan Dogs

Severus brought my doggies to visit me over lunchtime today. I had my doubts about them coming, since they’re not used to being out in public. As it turns out, taking a Scout & Shadow break in the middle of the day is surprisingly great!

Here’s a picture of them during our walk near the Liberty Memorial…

  1. What do you mean they are not used to being out in public?

    • They’re homebodies, so to speak. Aside from walks around our neighborhood, they only really see our house/yard and my parents’ house/yard.

    • Also, Scout isn’t very social; she’s loyal beyond belief with us and my parents but she pretty much dislikes everyone else. On the other end of the spectrum, Shadow loves EVERYONE.

  2. Interesting! My dog would go anywhere. She’s always up for an adventure, as long as she’s with us. However, she hates other dogs, so that does cause some problems…
